FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER officially began on July 1, 1997. We do not sell mutual funds, nor do we recommend brokers or provide personal advice.

Q: Do I have to be a very experienced trader to participate in the recommendations of the FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER?

A: No. The great advantage of this service is that you do not have to be an experienced investor. We do all the analysis for you. When we have completed our analysis, and have a "buy" signal on any of the funds or indexes, we will communicate specific recommendations to you by posting the updates in the subscribers web site. All you have to do is call the fund family or place the order with your discount broker via the Internet .

Q: How will I know when to sell?

A: That is what our research is all about. When we get a "sell" signal on any of the funds recommended in the FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER, we will issue an update advising you to sell. We'll also advise what to do with the proceeds.

Q: Can I trade the funds and indexes through a discount brokerage firm?

A: Yes, you can. Many of the large discount brokerage firms which handle no-load mutual funds, handle our recommendations. This includes Charles Schwab, Waterhouse, Lombard, etc. Call the brokerage company you are interested in to find out what the minimum required investment is and if they will charge you a transaction fee. Depending on the firm, the transaction fee could be very small.

Q: What brokerage firm must I use to trade the recommendations? Can you recommend some brokers?

A: We do not recommend any specific brokerage firm. Make sure the brokerage firm handles the mutual funds families we recommend for trading, PROFUNDS, RYDEX, . Or open an account directly with one of these mutual fund families for zero commission trading.

Q: Can I trade funds on margin, i.e. use leverage?

A: Yes, you can, but only if you go through a brokerage firm. The fund family itself is not allowed to lend money against securities. But if you are a more experienced investor and you have bought stocks on margin, you may wish to consider this alternative. If all the recommendations work out, you would be achieving a much higher level of profitability. However, you also enhance the risk if the market goes against the recommendations.

Q: I've also considered your SMART E-TRADER service. Why would I choose one over the other?

A: Our SMARTE TRADER focuses on stocks, options, and short-selling. At any one time, you may have 10-15 recommendations. Although the advice in the SMARTE TRADER is very precise, you nevertheless have to follow that many recommendations and the recommended protective stops associated therewith. That obviously is more time consuming. For people who are very busy with their profession, it may be too demanding. That's where the FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER is ideal; you will normally only have from two to four positions. Therefore, trading is not as active as with the SMARTE TRADER.

Q: What kind of funds do the RYDEX, PROFUNDS families offer?

A: Most of the funds are quasi-index funds. This provides the safety of diversification in an environment where stocks can plunge 30-50% without any warning. This happens every day. However, in a diversified fund portfolio, such big one-day losses are impossible.

For example, the RYDEX NOVA fund is equivalent to being 150% (it is leveraged) invested in the S&P 500 Index. The RYDEX OTC fund is invested in the NASDAQ 100 Index. And if you believe that the bond market will have a good run, you can invest in the 30-year government bond fund.

Q: What if we have a bear market, or a lengthy stock market correction? If Mr. Dohmen is correct in forecasting such an event, can we profit from it in the FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER?

A: Yes, in fact there are funds ideal for profiting from bear markets. For example, The RYDEX URSA fund, the PROFUNDS Bear fund. Short funds are always short the S&P 500 Index. Thus, the funds rise in price as the stock market goes down.

Q: How have these funds been performing?

A: The FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER has been performing very well. In fact, one of the funds utilized is the top-performing fund in the world! The PROFUNDS ULTRA fund has fantastic gains since its beginning.

Q: What is the subscription price for the service?

A: It's only $1,800 per year, or $499 Automatic charge per 12 weeks.

Q: What is an Automatic charge?

A: "Autocharge" means, we will charge your credit card automatically at the end of every 12 weeks cycle without renewal notices. This method of payment is excellent because your subscription will never be interrupted. You write us an e-mail whenever you wish to stop the charges and your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current term.

Q: Can we pay for the subscription by check?

A: Subscriptions can only be paid by credit card. We have recently converted to an automatic system, which lowers our cost, and allows us to maintain our low subscription rates. We accept Visa, Master Charge, or American Express.

Q: Is a trial subscription available?

A: The goal of this service is to trade the intermediate term swings in the markets. Therefore, a short-term trial subscription is not recommended. There is, however, a trial subscription for 4 weeks at $250. This service should be given at least one year, or even better, four years. That’s the only way to know if it’s valuable.

Q: What if I cancel a one-year subscription at the end of 12 weeks?

A: If you cancel at the end of the 12-week period, you get a pro rata refund of the one-year subscription rate - $499 will be deducted.

Q: When are the new updates posted? Are updates posted  during the trading day?

A: The FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER recommendations are always posted in the evening. You will be receiving an e-mail notifying you that a new update has been posted. You can implement your orders for the next day. There are no updates sent during the trading day. When the markets open, you can then place your order. You need not worry about the markets during the day because Mr. Dohmen is watching them for you.

Q: How many updates should I expect per week?

A: The FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER is not a daily service, it is market driven. We are averaging two to three updates per week.

Q: Does the FEARLESS FUND & INDEX TRADER cover foreign markets as well as US markets?

A: Some of the special funds and Index trusts available are also for foreign markets. If we see some exceptional opportunities in these, we will of course recommend them.
